Winter Coaching 2010

The snow and ice may still be hanging around but the cricket season is only a few weeks away. Junior Winter Coaching will begin on Sunday 21st February at Cragclowan School sports hall (indoors !!). All under 16 hardball cricketers are welcome and the sessions will run from 6-8pm at a cost of £2 per week.

General Information

The Sharks are a well established Junior section that play games at U-13 and U-15 level in the local Fife League. From late April until Early September training takes place every Monday evening, at Doo'Cot Park Perth from 6.30pm until 8.15pm.

Young male and female cricketers, of all abilities from the age of 9 upwards are welcome to come along and try the sport of cricket. The club enters teams into local under 10 kwik cricket festivals on a regular basis throughout the summer to give younger players a taste of what it is like to play in a game. 

ECB qualified coaches are on hand every week to supervise and lead the coaching sessions, and the club has achieved its 'Bronze' status with the national governing body Cricket Scotland through their club accreditation scheme 'TOP CLUB'. This acknowldges the club as a safe and well structured organisation.

Kwik Cricketers do it in Style 

For the 2009 season the kwik cricket team were delighted to be sponsored by 'MOHAIR' Gents and Ladies Hairdressers of North Muirton. Morag McKenzie who runs MOHAIR is pictured below handing on the shirts to the under 10 kwik cricket team.
