2011 Junior Season

The season has got off to a flyer in terms of junior training, with 53 attending the first week and 66 children taking part on week 2, both of which were holiday Mondays, so we hope to see some familiar faces from last season return over the next few weeks.

Monday 9th May sees the club hold a Girls Open evening, with girls of all ages 8 and above invited to come along and try the game of cricket. A girls only group will form part of the overall coaching group and will be lead by Kirtsen Ross, the P&K Cricket Development Officer.

For the latest Junior Fixtures for 2011, click here. There will be a series of kwik cricket festivals for the Under 10's on a Sunday mornings, the U-13's will have several fixtures against local teams inlcuding a first round match (and hopefully beyond) in the Scottish Cup. With a limited number of players in the U-15 category, we intend to blood the U-15 players in the midweek senior 8-a-side league along with some senior players when neccessary. There will be a few matches planned against other local U-15 teams when numbers allow.
